Overview
Examine your relationship to the vice, virtue, and holy idea of each type, explore contemplative methods, and expand your capacity to be receptive to something greater than yourself. All backgrounds welcome.
This event has prerequisites.
- Deepening Spiritual Awareness blends somatic practice rooted in grounded presence with contemplative methods for emptying and focusing the mind. These practices, experienced in community, build an inner capacity to recognize our emotional habits as they arise, stay present with the discomfort, and relax our ingrained patterns.
- By relaxing these habits of type, we loosen our identification with type and move into a space characterized by open-heartedness and expansion. We welcome and encourage all spiritual backgrounds and identifications.
- Deepening Spiritual Awareness is one of our four Foundational Courses and a pre-requisite to join our Professional Certification Program.
- Students will:
- – Explore the transformative potential of type structure by working with the vices (emotional habits) and virtues of each type
- – Learn two contemplative methods, the via negativa for emptying the mind and the via positiva for focusing the mind
- – Identify skills to work with the barriers you face that keep you from being more open
- – Share your experience on a panel focused on identifying obstacles and supports on your path to greater freedom
- Course includes:
- – 20+ hours of live teachings, practices, panels, and group work
- – 33-page pdf workbook
- – Interactive Enneagram community
- Prerequisites
- Experiencing the Narrative Enneagram (formerly Enneagram Intensive Part 1)
- Schedule & location
- Live online: Apr 5 – 7, 2024, 8:00am – 4:00pm Pacific (check your local time)
- Attendance: If you have a scheduling conflict please contact the registrar. If you need to miss more than 2 hours, you will need to sign up for another training.
- Tuition
- Standard registration: $650
- Early bird registration: $590 (valid through Feb 23, 2024)

- We do not currently offer ICF CCE credits for this course.
- Technical requirements: You will need a computer with internet access; headphones are optional but may be necessary.
