Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging

A Shared Foundation

The Narrative Enneagram teaching approach brings together our minds, hearts and bodies (our three centers of intelligence). In our curriculum, psychological, spiritual and somatic practices work together to help us to become more embodied, receptive, compassionate and self aware. It is in this place of receptivity that we expand and transform.

This work is both nourishing and challenging. Because we enter the room (or Zoom session) with our life experiences in tow, it is important that we start with a shared foundation. In 2022, we completed an eight-month process to update our Core Values to reflect the ingredients that will help us hold space for an increasingly diverse student base. We begin with an acknowledgment of inherent inequities and the interconnectedness of All Beings.

Our Core Values are:

  • Compassionate Curiosity

  • Grounded Presence

  • Worth and Belonging

  • Collaborative Creativity

  • Individual, Collective and Structural Transformation

These values are not just a list we refer to once a year. They are living and embodied within our educational offerings, programs and people. They are the base for our culture and our own ongoing organizational, interpersonal and individual work. Read more about our values >

Our Commitment

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, creed, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation or identity, national origin, age, ability, or marital status.

Beyond that, we are actively committed to creating spaces that welcome, celebrate and encourage diversity of experiences and perspectives.

A Note on Spirituality

We welcome all backgrounds. The exercises we teach can co-exist with any spiritual or religious tradition(s) as well as with those seeking a secular community.

A Lifelong Journey

In 2021, we also completed a yearlong Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion exploration with Dr. Deborah Egerton, Enneagram J.E.D.I. (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion). As we continue to have conversations with our team and community about how we may turn individual intention into collective action, we invite you to keep the lines of communication open. We greatly value your feedback and support.
