The Narrative Enneagram Attendance Policy
The Narrative Enneagram’s educational programs are grounded in experiential learning, and the learning activities you will engage in are highly dependent upon your attendance and participation. To promote a constructive learning environment for yourself and others, we require full participation, including pre-course work and homework, from all students.
Foundational Courses
Foundational Courses are interactive and narrative-focused, which means a significant amount of the work is based on panels and group discussions. If you will miss any portion of the course, please contact the Registrar in advance. You may miss up to two hours of any foundational course for any reason. Beyond missing these two hours, you will not be eligible for credit toward certification and will have to retake the course if you wish to certify. You will not be eligible for a refund and will be responsible for the tuition for any course you retake.
If you miss a full session of any foundational course without prior approval, you will be withdrawn from the course. You will not be eligible for a refund and will be responsible for the tuition for any course you retake.
Professional Certification Program
To successfully become a Certified Narrative Enneagram Teacher or Practitioner, participants may not be absent from any portion of the Professional Certification Program. Full attendance and participation during the Course Modules is required since this is an experiential program that includes group work, coaching, and opportunities to apply the skills you’ve learned.
If you miss any portion of the Professional Certification Program without prior approval, you will be withdrawn from the program. You will not be eligible for a refund and will be responsible for the tuition if you re-apply for the program.

If the course or program has not yet begun, and you have questions about cancellation or transfers, refer to our cancellation policy or contact the Registrar.
After the course or program start date
For Foundational Courses: After the course has begun, please contact the Registrar.
For the Professional Certification Program: After the program has begun, please contact the Certification Coordinator.
We want you to be able to successfully complete our courses and certification. Due to the participatory nature of our learning, it’s rare we can provide exceptions. Please communicate with us early if you have an extenuating circumstance, and we may be able to provide options.
