Community Gathering: Social Subtypes In Relationships

• While all three basic instincts – self-preservation, one-to-one, and social – are present in everyone, one tends to be more central in our daily lives and relationships. This dominant instinct can explain much of the variation among people of the same type.

• All of the nine Enneagram types have three instinctual variations, totaling 27 subtypes – each with a distinct flavor. Our instinctual subtype can influence our daily experience and relationships even more than our Enneagram type.

• During the 90-minute gathering on Zoom, representatives with a predominant one-to-one subtype will share:
• •The gifts and challenges of their instinctive subtype in relationships
• •How an understanding of their Enneagram subtype helps them navigate and strengthen relationships with their loved ones and co-workers
• •What kinds of misunderstandings or conflicts show up when engaging with others with different predominant instincts
