Step 2: The TNE Professional Certification Program Registration Invitation is for Applicants who have been approved by the TNE Registrar and Internship Coordinator to send the Applicant a Registration link

  • The Professional Certification Program at The Narrative Enneagram is for those who have successfully completed the Foundational Courses and are interested in developing their skills to use the Enneagram in their professional work. Practitioner Certification includes Typing Certification and includes these elements:

  • Typing Process Module (May 14-16, 2027)
  • Attend a 3-day live online training led by Core Faculty to learn the step-by-step process of conducting typing interviews to assist others in discerning their Enneagram Type. You’ll watch live demonstrations, craft your own unique set of questions, and practice with other students. On the last day, you’ll get to interview members of the community with guidance from a coach during our Free Typing Event. ICF CCE credits are available for this module.

  • Typing Practicum
  • Conduct at least 12 typing interviews and meet with a Coach to review your work and gain valuable feedback to hone your skills. You’ll also meet with a peer group of other students to practice together, reflect on your experiences, and support each other. Practitioner Certification also includes Typing Certification.

  • Practitioner Training Module (November 19-21, 2027)
  • Attend a 3-day live online training led by Core Faculty designed for therapists, coaches, spiritual directors, and others who already have an existing one-to-one practice. You’ll learn how to integrate the Enneagram into your work with individual clients and strategies for working with each of the nine types and your own type bias. ICF CCE credits are available for this module.

  • Practitioner Practicum
  • Participate in group supervision with others in your profession led by a Certified Narrative Enneagram Practitioner. You’ll complete case presentations, explore relevant Enneagram topics, and complete a final reflection paper reviewed by your Supervisor.

  • Graduation (June 2028)
  • Upon successful completion of all program elements, you will become a Certified Enneagram Typing Professional (CETP) in January 2028 and Certified Narrative Enneagram Practitioner (CNEP) in June 2028. You will also receive a complimentary year of Professional Membership.

  • Prerequisites
  • Complete all 4 Foundational Courses: Experiencing the Narrative Enneagram, Exploring Instinctual Subtypes, Engaging Transformational Growth, and Deepening Spiritual Awareness.

  • Additional requirements for Practitioner Certification:
  • 1. Be currently enrolled OR have successfully completed a professional training program in their discipline (e.g. mental health counseling, coaching, spiritual direction, etc.)
  • 2. Have worked as a fee-based client with a practitioner in their discipline for at least 6 sessions 
  • 3. Have been working with individual clients in their discipline for at least 6 months 
  • 4. Be actively working with at least 2 clients currently

  • You will share details about your credentials when you apply so that we can verify you meet these requirements. If accepted, you will receive the link to register.

  • Time Commitment and Attendance
  • Practitioner Certification takes approximately 12 months to complete (May – May). Participants may not be absent from any portion of the Professional Certification Program. Full attendance and participation is required since this is an experiential program that includes group work, coaching, and opportunities to apply the skills you’ve learned.

  • Certification Costs
  • The total cost of the Practitioner Certification is $4,495 USD. 
  • $2,695 Tuition paid to The Narrative Enneagram (payment plans are available)
  • $1,800 Practicum fees paid directly to your coach and supervisor spread out over the number of sessions

  • Thanks to the generous support of donors, scholarships are available through ourFellowship Program, which includes the Foundational Courses and Profession Certification Program.

  • Transfers/cancellations
  • Final day to register: April 30, 2028
  • Final day to transfer: April 30, 2028
  • Final day to cancel and receive a partial refund: April 7, 2028
