Join co-author Suzanne Dion to explore the question: What tears our relationships apart and how can the Enneagram bring us back together? You’ll gain practical insights applicable to your own life or to use in work with clients.
- Co-authored by Narrative Enneagram co-founder David Daniels, M.D. and Certified Enneagram Teacher Suzanne Dion, The Enneagram, Relationships, and Intimacy conveys David’s lasting vision of a more loving world that begins with deeply loving human beings in loving relationships with one another.
- David said, “In all my years of practice, nothing has come close to the Enneagram of Personality in saving, healing, and developing relationships.” You’ll learn how our Enneagram type and subtype impacts relationships along with practical guidance on core topics from David’s years of heartfelt experience to loving better and living more fully.
- During this 6-session book study, we will:
- • Gain insights into the nine Enneagram types and sexuality—nine ways we either diminish or enhance intimacy and fulfillment
- • Discover the construction of the defense system, its protective purpose, and how it separates us from love
- • Apply the 6As of the Transformational Growth process to relationships: Awareness, Allowing Acceptance, Appreciation, Action, and Adherence
- At the end of the study, you’ll be able to use The Enneagram, Relationships, and Intimacy and the new and complementary online Companion Workbook and Levels of Developmental Well-being Worksheet in your personal life, teachings, and practice. May they support you, as was David’s intention, to serve both yourself and others along the path of self and relational development and fulfillment.

- Recommended reading:
- Introduction – Chapter 2 for the first meeting, and please download both the Companion Workbook and Levels of Developmental Worksheet.
- The book is organized in three parts:
- • Week 1: Our relationship with self sets the tone for all relationships with others.
- • Weeks 2, 3, and 4: The quality of our relationships—with others, partners, family, and coworkers—are critical to a fulfilling human life.
- • Weeks 5 and 6: How to enhance our ability to experience love and intimacy with a significant other.

- • Presentation portions will be recorded and sent to all registrants.
- • Attendance: If you have a scheduling conflict, please contact the registrar.
- • We do not currently offer ICF CCE or NBCC CE credits for this workshop.
- • Technical requirements: You will need a computer with internet access; headphones are optional but may be necessary.
