she/her

Based in Lexington, Massachusetts, USA.
Sheryl L. Cohen, PhD is a graduate of Clark University, Humboldt State University and Ohio University. After an internship at the VA, she worked in community mental health for seventeen years. She also taught an intensive Family Therapy training course for therapists in Cincinnati Ohio. She has been a licensed clinical psychologist since 1983 in Ohio and, as of 2023, also in Massachusetts where she is in private practice.

She was introduced to the Enneagram in the late 1990’s and, as Cincinnati became a hub for many students, she enjoyed psychotherapy referrals from her colleagues. She has the distinction of being the first Enneagram Practitioner in its inaugural class in 2014. She has devoted herself to the TNE organization, serving on its board for many years, including several as its president. Currently she serves as a Group Supervisor for therapists in the Practitioner Certification, and celebrates more mental health professionals bringing the Enneagram to their clinical work.
