Maurya Kay

Maurya Kay, MEd, English, is the founder of Illuminate Coaching, LLC, offering Enneagram teaching and coaching, and Restorative Practices training to individuals, couples, educators, and work teams. As a TNE-certified Enneagram Teacher and Typing Professional, Maurya focuses her practice on helping individuals achieve transformation of mind, body, and spirit by using the Enneagram as a tool for greater self-awareness and a deeper understanding of others. As an IIRP-certified facilitator of Restorative Practices training—an approach to community building and behavior management for students and employees that emphasizes belonging, accountability, and the restoration of relationships as an alternative to the punitive responses traditionally used in educational and professional cultures—she trains parent, educator, and business-leadership audiences to transform their communication skills and responses to harm. Maurya also currently serves her community as a founding leader of the Grosse Pointe chapter of PFLAG, a support organization for parents, friends, family members, and individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. The unifying focus of her work is to help individuals grow, thrive, and strengthen their personal and professional relationships.
