Alonso Rios

Alonso Ríos is a multicultural executive coach with a passion for the Enneagram, leadership, and relationship building. With extensive experience in both the private sector and academia, he has made a significant impact as a faculty member at two esteemed international coaching school franchises. As an Enneagram Type 9SX, Alonso brings a unique perspective to his coaching approach.

Throughout his career, Alonso has collaborated with executive teams and individuals across diverse regions, including the United States, Mexico, Latin America, and the United Kingdom. His mission is to empower clients to fully embrace their personal narratives and pursue the lives they truly desire, rather than settling for less. By working with companies, governments, and NGOs, he actively promotes leadership development and champions diversity and inclusion initiatives. One of his personal goals is to combat gender-based violence in his community, reflecting his commitment to creating positive change.

Alonso focuses on three primary areas in his professional practice: individual and relationship coaching, coach training, and supervision. He is dedicated to training a new generation of coaches—whether they focus on individuals, teams, or relationships—in English, Spanish, and French. His extensive coaching journey has spanned various sectors, including the U.S. federal government, United Nations teams, multicultural groups, and executives in the technology sector.

Before starting his coaching career, Alonso had a successful trajectory at Citibanamex, a global financial group, where he served as the director of equity sales in the treasury department in Mexico City. He holds a Master of Arts from Columbia University in New York and a bachelor's degree in economics from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.

Now residing in beautiful Sitges, Spain, Alonso shares his life with his wife. He proudly holds dual Mexican and French citizenship and conducts his professional practice fluently in English, French, and Spanish.
