Susan Brown

Susan Christerson Brown is certified by TNE as both an Enneagram teacher and practitioner, which undergirds her practice as a spiritual director and creative writing mentor. She works with individuals and small groups, often blending an exploration of the Enneagram, spirituality, and creativity. She helps clients learn and grow within a safe and supportive environment.

Susan holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Spalding University, an MA in Theological Studies from Lexington Theological Seminary, and certification as a spiritual director through the Haden Institute in Hendersonville, NC. She also works with dreams from a Jungian perspective, and leads dream groups, finding that dreams sometimes show how our Enneagram type patterns are at work. Though her grounding is within the Christian tradition, she is in private practice and works with people of different faiths, as well as those with no particular religious affiliation.

She finds working with the Enneagram to be a powerful support for becoming more fully present to ourselves and others, and for connecting to our spiritual and creative center in the midst of our unfolding lives.
