Feeling Thankful!

November 24, 2019 | By Ed Self

As Thanksgiving approaches, I’d like to take a moment to share my gratitude for my new role as Executive Director for The Narrative Enneagram (TNE). It’s been about a month since I began my tenure. I’ve been very busy learning my new role, meeting almost constantly with an incredibly professional and dedicated staff, Core Faculty and Board of Directors. And, now I’m beginning to meet with partners and supporters. What an incredible organization and thriving community with so many inspiring stories of transformation!

I attended the recent Enneagram Intensive – Part 1 in Denver, CO, to get a firsthand intro to our life-changing programming, and look forward to traveling to Menlo Park, CA, in February 2020 to attend the Enneagram Intensive – Part 2, Deepening Spiritual Awareness, Instincts and Subtypes, and the Menlo Park Learning Community. It will be a fabulous two-week journey to experience our work from the inside out. Then, I plan to travel to Cincinnati, OH, in March for the Dayton Learning Community. In both locations, I’d love to meet with as many of you as possible, hear your stories and listen to your ideas about our exciting future.

On November 1, we launched a four-part online course, The Narrative Enneagram and the Nine Types, with Renée Rosario. Please check it out on our website and tell your friends. There is a $10 discount through the end of November. We plan to create more of this kind of content as a bridge between taking the Enneagram test and the larger commitment to attend the Enneagram Intensive.

These are exciting times for the Enneagram and the Narrative tradition. In 2019, we experienced a 30% increase in program registrations, with many at full capacity. TNE created a new Strategic Plan in July 2019. This comprehensive road map will guide and focus many compelling initiatives over the next three years to better meet the needs of our existing community and expand into new communities.

Achieving the full potential impact of our Strategic Plan will require all of our passion, dedication and resources. And in this season of giving, I would be remiss in my new role as Executive Director if I didn’t encourage you to give a generous year-end donation to bring our mission to fruition, transforming lives and creating a more compassionate world.

I’d love to hear from you and learn about your journey into the richness of the Narrative Enneagram and the ripple effects it has had through your life, family, community and the wider world. Contact me anytime at ed@enneagramworldwide.com.

With gratitude and blessings,

Ed Self

Hi Ed,

It was such a pleasure to have you in the DSA with all the people, who were attending.
I really appreciate your direct interest and connection with the Enneagram work.

Hopefully you are feeling better after your sinuses were affected at the ned of the DSA.

I would appreciate any feedback you can give about whatever experience you had during the weekend.
So happy you are the ED for the TNE.
This organization is dear to my heart and wherever I go I am representing the Narrative Enneagram.

Welcome again and so glad I was able to meet you personally,

Love,

Marion
