Starting in her mid 20's she was part of a healing community with the Center for Human Growth in Berkeley, CA, becoming the studio/office manager and Deejay at the Friday night Dance Jams. This was also the home of the first public Enneagram presentations and panel classes starting in 1978, with her teacher Dr. Kathleen Speeth – Psychologist, Gurdjieff and Fourth Way teacher who collaborated with Naranjo and others in SAT to develop the personality profiles of the Enneagram. Pat first studied Intuition with Helen Palmer, which quickly morphed into Enneagram teachings, and went on to help produce many ongoing workshop series in Berkeley and SF. As a young seeker, Pat became involved with wholistic health and studied dance, Motivity, Tai Chi, Qigong, Feldenkrais Method, Acupressure and is Certified in Restorative Yoga. She passed through some of the budding personal development movements with EST and Actualizations while focusing on Reichian based emotional release bodywork and bioenergetics from 1976 to 1989. Pat lives in the SF Bay Area with her husband Peter, where they've raised their three (now adult) children.
